If your operating system keeps on prompting Activation Key. You can proceed with the following steps.
1. Goto Administrative Tools and click on Services.
2. Move to SL UI Notification Service.
3. Set startup type as “Disabled” (Select from the dropdown list).
4. Click OK
5. At the top “Click on the STOP Service” (Top you can find STOP Symbol).
6. Restart your computer.
7. Now, go to \windows\system32 folder and right click on SLLUA file and click properties.
8. Click Advanced (under security tab).
9. Go to Owner Tab and Click Edit.
10. Click Other users or group
11. Click Advanced
12. Click Find Now
13. Click OK – As selected on Administrator.
14. Click OK – For select user or group window
15. Click OK – SLLUA (Advanced security settings)
16. Click OK – Windows Security popup.
17. Click OK
18. Click Edit – SLLUA Properties.
19. Choose Administrators and check FULL CONTROL box.
20. Then Confirm YES.
21. Click OK – SLLUA Properties.
22. Left click on SLLUA file and DELETE.
23. Confirm YES.
24. Same Procedure for SLUI and SLUINotify.dll (Follow steps 7 to 23)
25. Restart your computer and change the time to TEST.
26. Restart again
27. Password Change Notification comes. Change it while clicking Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
Now, your Windows Server 2008 will not prompt for the Activation Key…
